My Dream Trip

My dream trip would be to Japan. The only real reason i want to go to Japan would be to see a drifting competition, and meet all the huge performance part manufacturers. You could say that im obsessed with drifting and the whole import tuning world. I like it so much because someday i will be a mechanic working on those type of cars, and if im lucky and good enough i would want to become a professional drifter. I would go to Japan to see where it all began. Drifting started in the mountains of Japan as a way to get to the bottom faster. Also, all the major and most successful import tuning cars are made in Japan. For drifting lovers and future tuners like me Japan would be the place to go to, to learn to tools of trade. 

Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift

My favorite movie is Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift no questions asked. It should have won a Grammy or an Oscar, its that good. Lucas Black is the main character and he has the need, the need for speed. He lives in Texas until he gets arrested for street racing, and then gets shipped off to Japan to live with his dad. His first day in Japan he becomes friends with a street racer. He goes with him to a race and finds out their street racing is a whole lot different than America's. Eventually he finds himself in the race and wrecks a car because he doesn't know who to drift. Later he becomes friends with the owner of the wrecked car. Also, he starts learning how to drift so he can be the Drift King. By the way drifting is a way of getting through a turn faster than normal. Drifters slide the back end of the car around and slide sideways through a turn, like in the picture. Anyways Lucas becomes a really good drifter and eventually takes down the Drift King and kicks him out of the city. This movie showed definitely be on your must see list, along with Transformers (my second favorite movie).   

Homecoming

Well here it is. Homecoming has finally showed up. For some people this is a wonderful time for them. They like getting all dressed up, taking pictures, and then going out to dinner. Going out to eat is always fun because no matter where you go there is always someone staring at you. Thats the best part because it makes some people in the group uncomfortable, and then people like me don't care about it and make faces and stare back at the people. When you do that it makes the people that were staring uncomfortable and look away or they just laugh. Although I had a great time last year, I will not be attending this years Homecoming dance. There really isn't a reason why im not going. I believe I will miss all the fun on saturday night, but oh well there's always next year.

Hurricane Ike

Hurricane Ike was a huge hurricane. Satellite images from space show it being so big it fills the whole Gulf of Mexico. My cousin lives in Houston and said his house was flooded and windows broken. he says that lots of homes around his were completely destroyed. He was lucky that his house was still inhabitable. The school he goes to has just opened again because it had almost two feet of water in it. He is glad that all of his friends are okay and they can live in there houses as well.

favorite subject

My favorite subject in school is PE. Nahh I,m just kidding. My real favorite subject would have to be, well now that i think about i really do like PE. I like it because i get to relax, let my energy out, talk to my friends, and mess around. Also its fun because the games that we play during class are fun. We play dodgeball, mat ball, football, soccer, hockey, and so many more. The best thing is that you don't really have to try that hard to get an A.

st project

For our recent saint project i chose St. Andrew. I chose him because we share a common name, and I wanted to learn more about him. I learned that he was the first disciple of Jesus. Also he and Peter were brothers. Basically he was a pretty cool guy and there a lot of schools and colleges named after him. There is also St. Andrews Basilica in Patras.

The most fun Project.

The most fun project was definitely the storyboard for the song. I liked this project because it gave me a chance to actually get creative. It allowed me to think and try things out to see how they looked or if it made any sense at all with the lyrics. This project was the best so far because it will show everyone what kind of music we like and what we can come up with to have some sort off relation to the lyrics. Once we get to make the movie portion of this project then that will be the most fun project we will have done. i cant wait for that.

The song for my storyboard

I chose to do my storyboard assignment on Lights and Sounds by Yellowcard. I picked this song because i thought it would be easy to get fun animations on the slides. Also i asked my family what to do it on and my sister said this one because she had it stuck in her head the whole day. At first i disagreed with her but once i listened to it and remembered what it was about i liked it and said yup I'm doing this one. Right after i listened to it i was already thinking about what i was going to do. Once I got all my ideas planned out it was pretty simple making the slides. The only problem was that it took me a while to make a bunch a stick figures, but i had fun and cant wait for the animation part.  

Mac vs. PC who wins?

The Mac easily. No offense to the PC but the Mac is just way easier to use. I love my PC at home but i wish i could trade it in to get a Mac like the ones in the classroom. I love that the Mac has there own iWork tools like Microsoft Office. The iWork applications are so much easier to use, because everything is laid out so much better. Also its basically one click and you'll find what you need under the inspector button. I love the fact that you can make movies and edit photos on the computer itself, unlike with the PC you have to load everything up on to the system.

intro to tech class

intro to tech is a lot of fun. i've never really been able to use a Mac like this or even learn about it. its really fun when we just get to play with them and find out all that they can do. when we have to do an assignment im always like awe man. i dont really mind the assignments i just wish we could have a little more time to do them. there not that hard, but im new to a Mac and still trying to figure out what everything does and where to find things. if it were a PC i think i would be a lot faster at things and maybe getting a better grade because i know the lay out of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint more than the iWork tools. im not saying id like to go back to the PC because using a mac everyday makes me kind of wish i had one and staring to dislike my PC. but oh well ill have to live with it. i really wish i had a Mac so i could do this storyboard project at home. i like the fact the we moved to due date back because i would have never finished, but i still wish i could save it to a flashdrive and bring it home so i could get even more time to work on it. im loving computers class the instructor knows what shes doing, and i cant wait for future projects. only if it was the whole year not just a semester because i heard speech class sucks. 

school homework

whats the deal with all the homework? i mean homework helps us learn the material but do we really need five hours of homework every night. also in some classes im just told to do an assignment and i have no idea what its about. i wouldnt care if i had a lot and knew how to do it, but having a lot and no clue what its about gets me frustrated and confused. then when you turn all that assignment in the teacher says heres some more and its due friday. Ok thanks Mr./Mrs. ... can you give a little heads up on what im doing. i dont really have a big problem with homework but when i dont know whats going on i begin to have a problem.

What's for dinner?

when i'm always very very very hungary/tired. so when i come in the door i ask my mom the infamous question "what's for dinner." i never really get an answer so i just wait until dinner time to find out what's for dinner. it always ends up being very very delicious. i think all of you should come over and have my moms food....... not. its all for me and if my families lucky they get some to sometimes.
