My 2.2 cents

Hello again everyone! How are you? I'm doing alright, thanks for asking. I am here today to talk to you about the quickest growing motor sport, Drifting. Drifting if you don't know what it is, is amazing. Drifting is not like the other auto racing events. To be a good drifter, you have to be out of control, but completely in control. In other auto racing events you the driver slows down and takes the turn carefully. In drifting, the driver gets his rear tires to lose traction and slide through the turn sideways. Even though we have a top drifting league here inn America, we did not invent it. Drifting was invented in Japan. The Japanese used it as a way to get down the mountains faster. Drifting has changed in many ways since then. Drifting is now held as events at tracks, and not as get to togethers on the streets. The biggest change in drifting is, the cars. They went from stock cars with just a turbo kit, to fully modified cars producing close to 500 horsepower (like the cars above). Since drifting started in Japan, you would think that the best drift cars are made there. The good thing is, they are. I don't think any other country could make such successful drift cars like the Japanese do. Drifting is my favorite motor sport, and some day I hope to be apart of it.

My 2.1 cents?

Well, hello. I don't really know what the title is supposed to mean but whatever. I guess I get to talk about whatever I what, thats cool. The only problem is that, I don't know what to talk about. I really need to think of something or else this blog would be pretty boring. Ah! I finally thought of a topic, and if you know me well, you already know what it is. I really like to play car racing games on my Xbox 360, so I decided to talk about the latest and greatest racing game, Need For Speed Undercover. It's amazing!! If you like Need For Speed Most Wanted you will definitely like this one. It is just like Most Wanted, but better graphics, driving experience, and awesome cars. Undercover has the most realistic graphics out of all the available racing games. When it comes time for a race or just free roam, you can feel all the simulation. If your car has under steer or over steer, you can feel it. You can feel all grip the car has or doesn't have. The best part is that every car in the game is a mans dream car. Undercover has the worlds fastest car to the hottest imports. They have my dream car, the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR, a.k.a. Evo IX. Also, this game has the largest free roaming world ever created for a racing game. With endless highways, you can get your car up to top speed and pass traffic like its standing still. Need For Speed Undercover is so far the best racing game I have ever played. I can't wait for the next game in the series to be released. 

Project Experience

I really enjoyed the newscast project. I thought it was a lot of fun. It made me feel like I was the director of a movie, taking multiple takes and editing out the bad parts. I thought that it was a great way to get familiar with the settings and controls of iMovie. Some people in my class had very good newscasts. This project was really fun. 

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is approaching and I am thankful for many things. I am thankful for my family and friends. Well who isn't. I am thankful for this thanksgiving because my family and another family that i grew up with are going to Mexico. This trip is going to be amazing because I will actually be able to remember it. The past trips i can only remember certain things. Okay enough of that, back to what I am thankful for. I am thankful for my life. Yeah that might sound corny but, its the truth I love my life. I wouldn't have it any other way. So people dream of being wealthier but, Im fine how I am. Thats basically it I guess.

Political Cartoon

This is a great cartoon. This cartoon perfectly symbolizes what people were recently think about gas prices before our economy went south. I know my parents were doing this same thing. I was even doing this to because with the high prices my parents wouldn't let me practice driving. That was a bummer. I am now glad the prices have gone done so now i can go out and drive where ever and my parents are not stressing about driving a lot. Although are economy isn't doing very well, are gas prices are like the good old days.

Invention

I have dream of inventing something that I could make lots of money off of. I would like to be able to help everyone with my inventions. This time my invention only helps growing teenage boys like me. My invention would be a robot. I know robots have already been invented, but mine only does two specific things. My robot would make the owner food whenever he asked and do all the household cleaning. This would allow the owner to get his gamerscore up on all the video games he wants to beat. If i was wealthy enough i would try to get this invention patented and possibly produce a few. I think my next invention would be a robot that could mow the lawn, rake leaves, and shovel the drive way depending on the weather. That would be a hit!

My Vote

I am currently not able to vote. I also do not know who I would vote for. Well i have an idea but its not your business. So I will keep it to myself. I didnt watch anything about the presidential campains because it was boring and I would rather play XBOX 360. Playing video games is way better than watch things about what people say they will do if they become El Presidente. I think that most of the things they say is a lie. Although somethings might be true now but what about in the long run when it really matters. Will they step up and do the right thing or, lay low and hit the big red A-Bomb button. That is what I think on the presidential election tomorrow.
